Trip to LA with the National Millennial Community

As a National Millennial Community member, I got the chance to attend a seminar in LA where I got to
visit various companies within the LA area. Some of the companies we got to visit were The Wonderful
Company, Riot Games, Sony Pictures Entertainment, IW Group, ABC Television, Walt Disney
Imagineering, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the LA Dodgers.

This trip exposed me to amazing companies as well as provided me the opportunity to network with
executives and employees within those companies. The group of around 30 of us were used as a focus
group for many of the companies listed above. They appreciated hearing from millennials and Gen Z
members to understand what we look for in a company as well as how we consume our news. I got to
visit ABC Television and Walt Disney Imagineering, which was a dream come true. I’ve been a Disney
fan from a very early age.

This opportunity would not have been possible without the creator of the NMC, Mr. Bill Imada. It was
founded in 2015 by Bill, chairman and chief connectivity officer of IW Group, Inc.
He has brought together a community of millennial thinkers who strive to change the conversation
about the millennial generation. The National Millennial Community has executed  multiple think tank
conversations with key influencers in media and business. More than 40 states, Washington D.C.,
Guam, and Puerto Rico are represented.

National Millennial Community members have met with more than 150 executives from over
85 corporations, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and governmental agencies.
So far, there have been about 25 field trips to cities from Atlanta to Seattle and from Los Angeles to
Vienna, Austria. The next field trip is scheduled for the summer to Milwaukee and Chicago.
