Here's What You Should Expect From The Future of Mobile

I had a chance to attend this year's Mobile Week 16 in New York City, is a conference, week-long series of events where the next generation of engineers, entrepreneurs, and executives master the skills behind the mobile revolution.
Here is few important highlights that I like to share with you from the event. Whether you are interested in advertising or tech, I think it is important for you to hear about these.

Data Revolutions:

“Every dimensions of our lives is going to digital.. "
Chris Wolf”  Featured Talk: Bridging the Mobile Divide
People are using more and more electronic devices every day and it is going to be more in the future. Connected devices per person are expected to be about 6 by 2021.
The big data is behind the nowadays tech revolutions. For example, people were using the phone, Blackberry, to make calls or sends emails before the iPhones came along. People think that the Apple revolutionize the phone, however, the real revolution came from the applications, it was the data coming from these devices, shape the today's technology. It is the same thing happening today with the automotive industry. Tesla or GM is not the one who shape the industry, is the data that comes from the system.
An example about the internet of thing, the cola machines. There are more than 3000 electronic cola machines across the United States. And this machines can recognize that which drink is finish, then can notify the people through their phones. Then they will refill the machines.
It will be very difficult to manage this kind of data globally, there needs to be a new creative mobile architecture system.

More Smaller Devices and More Data:

“Everything, I mean “Everything” will be measurable”
Stephen Brobst
It being 10 years now we started talking about the big data. It started on the web, because we wanted to track users movement. If they purchase something online, we asked questions like where the users clicked and end up buying that product.
But now with the sensor technology, we will be able to track almost everything. Many items on the shelf, many of them will be electronic and even you will be able to track if your kids brush his teeth because the tooth branches will be electronics sensored. Also, the companies will be able to collect data from the user's movement.

The big data mainly benefited for B2C companies, try to understand consumer behaviour, click and social media behaviours, but the 3rd generation data will mainly benefit B2B companies. For example, cars will sensor that the driver having a hard attached and pull over without any else's help
For next year's or so, everyone will be able to store more data and to have faster mobile devices, supercomputers. This means more sensor devices collect data from the movements.
With sensor technology, everything will be able measurable.

Deep linking, Shapes the Content

Deep Linking: In the context of the World Wide Web, deep linking is the use of a hyperlink that links to a specific, generally searchable or indexed, piece of web content on a website (e.g., "http://example.com/path/page"), rather than the website's home page (e.g., "http://example.com/")
The importance of the deep linking on mobile.
Tae Kim
When we first open up the iPhone there are not many apps installed on the device, however later on we install more and more apps, sometimes we even forget what we have in our mobile devices. But with using deep linking, the users can reach out any specific content within the app.
Deep linking drive more engagement on the app and also drive more installation rate.
For example, with the smart banners, you can promote an app. When people look up for some specific contents on their mobile browsers, smart banners can show up at the bottom/top of the screen, and when you click the ad, it could take you an app for the specific content that they were looking.
Deep linking is very important to acquire new users based on the content people looking for. Also by giving them a personalized welcome will make sure to remember the app from the data collected through deep linking.
Retain users, with using analytics coming from the deep linking, you can engage with the users and make them use the app constantly. For example, when someone came to your app through looking at the potatoes recipe, you can recommend your partner place that I can shop the items with the apps.
Deep linking provides more measurable data for marketers whether the user coming from the facebook ad or search engine marketing.
